INTENDED USE

The InTec One Step Malaria (Pf/Pv) Tri-line Test is a rapid, qualitative, differential immunochromatographic assay designed to detect the histidine-rich protein 2 (HRP-2) antigen of Plasmodium falciparum and the Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase (pLDH) of Plasmodium vivax in human whole blood, providing highly sensitive and specific results within 15 minutes.

GENERAL INFORMATION

· Enables differential diagnosis between Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax

· Ideal for regions where both P.v and P.f are prevalent

· Distinguishes between P.f mono-infection and P.f/P.v co-infection

· High sensitivity: Malaria Pf LOD = 50 parasites/μL

Malaria Pv LOD = 133 parasites/μL

· Specimen: Whole blood (5 μL)

· Results available in 15 minutes (up to 20 minutes)

· Stable at 2-40°C for 24 months
